Situated only half an hour from central London and Heathrow Airport, tucked between Hammersmith and Chelsea, and close to the river, Fulham enjoys a vibrant community life.

Fulham has a seemingly unlimited supply of Victorian Terraces many of which have been smartened even rebuilt at great expense over the last three decades. There are many two and three bedroom properties all commanding a high price and the areas growing popularity catches on. The area also has a fair sprinkling of council estates which are expected to be revamped over the next few years so expect a revamp in their prices also.
 

Shopping & Entertainment

You will find everything along Fulham's busy streets from the alternative quirky original shops to the popular high street names. There are two great shopping emporia here from very different eras. The North End Market was established in 1880's and can still be found in full flow 6 days a week, and in contrast the newly established shopping centre with some major brand stores, supermarket and the latest in cinema entertainment and sporting facilities. Fulham offers an extensive selection of restaurants and every shade of delicatessen you could wish for, along with a comprehensive range of bars and clubs catering for everyone's taste.
 

Transport

Tubes: Parsons Green, Fulham Broadway, Putney Bridge (zone 2, District Line). From Fulham Broadway: Oxford Circus is 30 min (1 change), City is 45 min (1 change), Heathrow 45 min (1 change).
Buses are Plentiful.

Parks & Commons

Fulham is renowned for its open spaces with numerous sizable parks and of course a very long river frontage. Green spaces in the district include; Hurlingham Park with its sports ground and the club that adjoins the park has a swimming pool, tennis courts and is centred around the 18th century Hurlingham House. Bishops Park offers 27 acres of beautiful land with sports ground, an ornamental park, an open air theatre and the Bishops Palace now a museum but once home to the Bishops of London until 1973. Also nearby, little South Park has a children's play area, cricket pitch, tennis courts, while there are two ancient centres still with open land Eel Brook common and Parsons Green.
 

Who lives here?

Though still retaining its British lifestyle appeal, Fulham attracts people from around the world to. The sales market is fuelled by the young twenty something professionals who find the property prices in the area a little more affordable in comparison to its eastern neighbours Chelsea and Kensington.
